اللھم صل علیٰ محمد وآل محمد
مناقب اہل بیت علیہم السّلام
بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ
سورۃ الاحزاب، آیت نمبر (56)میں ارشاد خداوندی ہوتا کہ
’’بیشک اللہ(تعالیٰ) اور اس کے فرشتے نبی ( اکرمﷺ ) پر درود بھیجتے ہیں۔اے ایمان والو! تم بھی نبی (اکرمﷺ) پر درود بھیجو اور خوب سلام بھیجو‘‘
جب یہ آیت کریمہ نازل ہوئی تو صحابہ کرام رضوان اللہ تعالیٰ علیہم اجمعین حضور نبی کریم ﷺ سے عرض کرنے لگے "اے اللہ کے رسولﷺ ! سلام کا طریقہ تو ہم جانتے ہیں، ہم درود کیسے بھیجیں؟ تو آپﷺ نے فرمایا تم درود ابراہیم پڑھا کرو" (صحیح بخاری: 3370)۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰی مُحَمَّدٍ وَّعَلٰی اٰلِ مُحَمَّدٍ كَمَا صَلَّيْتَ عَلٰی اِبْرَاهِيْمَ وَعَلٰی اٰلِ اِبْرَاهِيْمَ اِنَّكَ حَمِيْدٌ مَّجِيْدٌ
اَللّٰهُمّ بَارِكْ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّعَلٰی اٰلِ مُحَمَّدٍ كَمَا بَارَكْتَ عَلٰی اِبْرَاهِيْمَ وَعَلٰی اٰلِ اِبْرَاهِيْمَ اِنَّكَ حَمِيْدٌ مَّجِيْدٌ۔
اے اللہ رحمت نازل فرما محمد صلی اللّٰہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم پر اور محمد صلی اللّٰہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کی آل پر، جیسا کہ تونے رحمت نازل فرمائی ابراہیم علیہ السلام پر اور ابراہیم علیہ السلام کی آل پر، بے شک تو بڑی تعریف والا بزرگی والا ہے۔
اے اللہ برکت نازل فرما محمد صلی اللّٰہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم پر اور محمد صلی اللّٰہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کی آل پر، جیسا کہ تونے برکت نازل فرمائی ابراہیم علیہ السلام پر اور ابراہیم علیہ السلام کی آل پر، بے شک تو بڑی تعریف والا بزرگی والا ہے۔
مذکورہ درود ابراہیمی میں نبی مہربان صلی اللّٰہ علیہ وآلہ وسلّم کے مطابق نبی اکرم صلی اللّٰہ علیہ وآلہ وسلّم اور ان کی آل پر درود و سلام کا حکم ہے۔ رسول اللہ صلی اللّٰہ علیہ وآلہ وسلّم کی آل (اہل بیت) کون ہیں یہ ان احادیثِ مبارکہ سے معلوم کرتے ہیں۔
عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رضي الله عنهما قَالَ : لَمَّانَزَلَتْ هَذِهِ الْآيَةُ : (قُلْ لاَّ أَسْئَلُکُمْ عَلَيْهِ أَجْرًا إِلاَّ الْمًوَدَّةَ فِي الْقُرْبَي) قَالُوْا : يَارَسُوْلَ اللهِ، مَنْ قَرَابَتُکَ هَؤُلاءِ الَّذِيْنَ وَجَبَتْ عَلَيْنَا مَوَدَّتُهُمْ؟ قَالَ : عَلِيٌّ وَفَاطِمَةُ وَابْنَاهُمَا. رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ.
حضرت عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ جب یہ آیت : (قُلْ لاَّ أَسْئَلُکُمْ عَلَيْهِ أَجْرًا إِلاَّ الْمًوَدَّةَ فِي الْقُرْبَي) نازل ہوئی تو صحابہ کرام نے عرض کیا :
یا رسول اللہ! آپ کی قرابت کون ہیں جن کی محبت ہم پر واجب ہے؟ تو آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا : علی، فاطمہ اور ان کے دو بیٹے (حسن و حسین علیہم السلام)۔‘‘ اس حدیث کو امام طبرانی نے روایت کیا ہے۔
الحديث رقم 5 : أخرجه الطبراني في المعجم الکبير، 3 / 47، الرقم : 2641، و الهيثمي في مجمع الزوائد، 9 / 168.
عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُوْلُ اللهِ ﷺ : أَحِبُّوْا اللهَ لِمَا يَغْذُوْکُمْ مِنْ نِعَمِهِ، وَأَحِبُّوْنِي بِحُبِّ اللهِ عزوجل. وَأَحِبُّوا أَهْلَ بَيْتِي لِحُبِّي. رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيُّ وَالْحَاکِمُ. وَقَالَ أَبُوعِيْسَي : هَذَا حَدَيْثٌ حَسَنٌ.
حضرت عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما بیان کرتے ہیں کہ حضور نبی اکرم ﷺ نے فرمایا : اللہ تعالیٰ سے محبت کرو ان نعمتوں کی وجہ سے جو اس نے تمہیں عطا فرمائیں اور مجھ سے محبت کرو اللہ کی محبت کے سبب اور میرے اہل بیت سے میری محبت کی خاطر محبت کرو۔‘‘ اس حدیث کو امام ترمذی اور حاکم نے روایت کیا نیز امام ترمذی نے فرمایا کہ یہ حدیث حسن ہے۔

اس کے علاوہ بھی درود و سلام کے مستحق آل رسول (اہل بیت)علیہم السّلام کی شان میں ڈھیروں احادیثِ مبارکہ موجود ہیں۔ اب جو شخص درود و سلام کو زبان سے اقرار اور دل سے تصدیق کر کے پڑھے گا وہی اہل بیت علیہم السّلام کے درجات و افضلیت کو پہچان سکتا ہے، اور جو شخص محض عادتاً پڑھے اسے اہل بیت علیہم السّلام سے اسقدر محبت و عقیدت نہیں ہوگی۔
حب اہل بیت علیہم السّلام سے شفاعت کے راستے ہموار ہوتے ہیں اور یہ نبی کریم صلی اللّٰہ علیہ وآلہ وسلّم کی مسرت کا باعث ہے۔ نبی کریم صلی اللّٰہ علیہ وآلہ وسلّم سے اللہ کی محبت کے سبب محبت کرنا اور اہل بیت سے محمد الرسول اللہ صلی اللّٰہ علیہ وآلہ وسلّم کی خاطر محبت کرنا ہی اصل میں محبت ہے۔ جب ہم اہل بیت علیہم السّلام کو نبی کریم صلی اللّٰہ علیہ وآلہ وسلّم کا اصل وارث اور جانشین مان کر محبت کریں گے تو یقیناً ہم اللہ کے نبی صلی اللّٰہ علیہ وآلہ وسلّم سے محبت کر رہے ہونگے۔ اور اللہ کے نبی صلی اللّٰہ علیہ وآلہ وسلّم سے محبت کا تقاضا ہے کہ اپنی جان، مال، اولاد اور دنیا کی ہر شے سے بڑھ کر محبت کی جائے اور یہ ایمان کی تکمیل کے ساتھ مشروط ہے۔
حدثنا محمد بن بشار ، ومحمد بن المثنى ، قالا: حدثنا محمد بن جعفر ، حدثنا شعبة ، قال: سمعت قتادة ، عن انس بن مالك ، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم:" لا يؤمن احدكم حتى اكون احب إليه من ولده، ووالده، والناس اجمعين".
انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”تم میں سے کوئی شخص مومن نہیں ہو سکتا جب تک کہ میں اس کے نزدیک اس کی اولاد، اس کے والد، اور تمام لوگوں سے زیادہ محبوب نہ ہو جاؤں (سنن ابن ماجہ حدیث نمبر 67)
اللہ ربّ العزّت تمام مسلمانوں کے دل میں حب اہل بیت علیہم السّلام کا جذبہ پیدا فرمائے اور تمام مومنین کو حب اہل بیت پر استقامت نصیب فرمائے آمین۔

O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad (PBUH) and the family of Muhammad (PBUH).
Virtues of the Ahl al-Bayt (Peace Be Upon Them)
In the name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful.
In Surah Al-Ahzab, verse (56), Allah Almighty says:
"Indeed, Allah and His angels send blessings upon the Prophet (peace be upon him). O you who believe, send blessings upon him and greet him with peace."
When this noble verse was revealed, the Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) asked the Prophet (peace be upon him), "O Messenger of Allah, we know how to offer greetings of peace, but how should we send blessings (salat) upon you?" The Prophet (peace be upon him) responded, "You should recite the Salat al-Ibrahim." (Sahih Bukhari: 3370)
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, as You sent blessings upon Ibrahim and the family of Ibrahim. Indeed, You are Praiseworthy and Glorious.
O Allah, bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, as You blessed Ibrahim and the family of Ibrahim. Indeed, You are Praiseworthy and Glorious.
In the aforementioned Salat al-Ibrahim, according to the beloved Prophet (peace be upon him), the command to send blessings and peace is upon the Prophet (peace be upon him) and his family. To understand who constitutes the family (Ahl al-Bayt) of the Prophet (peace be upon him), we refer to the following blessed hadith:
Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that when the following verse was revealed: "Say, I ask of you no reward for this except for the love of kinship (near relatives)." (Quran 42:23), the Companions asked, "O Messenger of Allah, who are your close relatives whose love is incumbent upon us?" The Prophet (peace be upon him) replied, "Ali, Fatimah, and their two sons (Hassan and Hussain)." This hadith was narrated by Imam Tabarani. (Hadith No. 5: Tabarani, al-Mu'jam al-Kabir, 3/47, No. 2641; and Al-Haythami, Majma' al-Zawa'id, 9/168)
Ibn Abbas narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Love Allah for the favors He bestows upon you, love me for the sake of Allah, and love my family for my sake." This hadith was narrated by Imam Tirmidhi and Al-Hakim, and Imam Tirmidhi classified it as Hasan (sound). (Hadith No. 8: Tirmidhi, Sunan, Book: The Virtues of the Prophet's Household, 5/664, No. 3789; Al-Hakim, al-Mustadrak, 3/162, No. 4716; Al-Bayhaqi, Shu'ab al-Iman, 1/366, No. 408)
There are many other noble hadiths extolling the virtues of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them), who are deserving of blessings and peace. Only the one who recites the blessings and peace sincerely, with both verbal acknowledgment and heartfelt conviction, can truly recognize the elevated status and superiority of Ahl al-Bayt. On the other hand, someone who merely recites out of habit may not develop the same love and reverence for them.
Love for the Ahl al-Bayt opens the pathways to intercession and brings joy to the Prophet (peace be upon him). Loving the Prophet (peace be upon him) for the sake of Allah, and loving the Ahl al-Bayt for the sake of the Prophet (peace be upon him), constitutes true love. When we love the Ahl al-Bayt, recognizing them as the true heirs and successors of the Prophet (peace be upon him), we are indeed loving the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him). Loving the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) demands that we love him more than ourselves, our wealth, our children, and everything else in this world, which is a condition of the perfection of faith.
Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said, "None of you truly believes until I am more beloved to him than his children, his parents, and all people." (Sunan Ibn Majah, Hadith No. 67)
May Allah, the Lord of Might and Glory, instill the love of the Ahl al-Bayt in the hearts of all Muslims and grant all believers steadfastness in their love for the Ahl al-Bayt. Ameen.
